As part of this new chapter, Eco will be operating out of the GDS offices and warehouse in Lockhart. We’re also pleased to introduce Alex Dalton, President and Founder of Eco, who will be leading the brand’s continued growth within our organization.
Alex entered the garage door industry about eight years ago and soon after launched Eco with just $1,500 and a vision. Through hard work and determination, he built the company from the ground up—growing it into a successful, respected business in the Austin market.
His passion for the industry and pride in what he’s built are evident in every aspect of Eco’s operations, and we’re excited to see that spirit continue within Windsor America.
Originally from Michigan and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Alex moved to Austin about three and a half years ago to expand Eco Garage Doors into the Central Texas market. He and his wife, Katie, are proud parents to two young boys—Leo (4) and Kayden (2)—who keep life full of energy and fun outside of work. A lifelong Detroit Lions fan, Alex enjoys spending his free time outdoors and especially loves boating and being out on the water.
